Sneak Peak: The Holt Family

Our original plan was to take indoor photos a the capital, but unfortunately it wasn't open at the time we wanted to meet... so this very flexible and understanding family met me at another location for (mostly) outdoor photos- and the temperature was barely above freezing. It ended up being perfect and quite serendipitous as this is where I first met the Holt family 4 years ago! 

Celebrating Adoption- The Mahnke Family

This sweet couple, who is expecting their first child in the Spring, has just adopted four children! We spent a GORGEOUS Nebraska December afternoon at the park (without coats!) and captured some fun moments before heading off to the adoption party at a nearby restaurant where friends and family gathered to rejoice with this forever family.

Never have I met such a large group of kiddos who were:

1. SOOO well behaved
2. Fun
3. Hilarious!
4. Obedient

All of them. The entire time. Seriously. Their mothers are to be commended for fantastic parenting! I have hundreds and hundreds of photos and had to stop myself from just uploading the majority for the sneak peak! We have to save SOME for surprises! Enjoy!

This is our sweet babysitter and her amazing family. This poor dad- he is surrounded by beauty and sass! We traveled out into the country to a great farm with a gorgeous, renovated barn plus all of the old, dilapidated out buildings you'd expect to find.

Sneak Peak: Dykema Family

One of my favorite ladies, Joyce is a sweet friend full of loving advice, wisdom and encouragement. She will always hold a special place in my heart as she was our (very!) last minute Doula when my third baby was born. She is the epitome of grace and kindness, and her family follows suit.

I've actually been doing photos lately, but just haven't had the time to update the blog! I've done Senior Pictures, Family Pictures, children..... fun! Today, though, my husband has the children out of town so I am actually able to post a sneak peak!!

Thank you, to this precious family, for letting me spend the afternoon with you! Everyone was amazing! The kids were gorgeous and kind and such great listeners!
